Obituary of Mark A. Coley

COLEY, Mark A. Age 47 of Elmira, NY. He was born on August 16, 1973 in Rochester, NY, the son of Erma Dorn and the late Franklin Rivers Sr. and passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 26, 2020. Mark is survived by his wife Staci; children Isabella, Charlise, Cayden and Joshua; grandchildren Javier, Kaylee, Josh Jr. and Malorie Holton whom he loved as his daughter; Kailey Mead, his niece, who has always held a special place in his heart; grandmother "Ma Ann" Annie Rivers; mother Erma (Ronnie) Dorn; mother-in-law and father-in-law Jeanna and Charles Belknap; sisters Shondra Jones and Franteria Rivers; brothers Alex H. Pelt Sr., Warren Rivers and Franklin Rivers, Jr. along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mark graduated in 2016 with his associate degree in applied science. He was a forklift driver in the receiving department at Sam's Club in Big Flats. He enjoyed his job, customers and his work family. Mark was a kind man; he was loved and respected by all. He was humble and gentle with a great smile and a twinkle in his eye. Mark was soft spoken and never has a bad word to say about anyone. Mark had a passion for music, loved to play guitar, ride his motorcycle, watch politics, play chess but most of all Mark loved being with his family and friends. Due to the COVID pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.
