Obituary of Delbert J. Coolbaugh

COOLBAUGH, Delbert J. Age 65 of Elmira, NY. He was born June 2, 1947 in Elmira, son of the late John and Edith (Vandermark) Coolbaugh and passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after a brief illness with cancer. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Jeanette and brother Theodore. Delbert is survived by his loving wife Ellen; children Anthony Coolbaugh, Thomas (Eileen) Coolbaugh, Connie (Brian) Bixby, Mary (Brian) Magee and Donald (Molly) Brill; 13 grandchildren, Sherree, Steven, Seth, Chris, Zacory, Troy, Shawn, Jahryd, Devin, Mason, Brenna, Maura, Keegan;1 great grandchild, Janon, Jr.; brothers and sisters John, Jr., Arthur, Marian, Carol, Nancy, Marjorie, Steven, Rita, Jonna and Darrell along with several nieces and nephews. Delbert retired from Tops Supermarkets with over 30 years as a meat cutter. He enjoyed working in his yard. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, September 21st from 5 to 7 pm. His funeral and committal services will follow at 7 pm. Rev. Donald Knapp will officiate.
