Obituary of Frances E. Edwards

EDWARDS, Frances E. Age 93 of Horseheads, NY. She was born June 16, 1919 in Beachton, PA, daughter of the late Frank F. and Ellen (Stremovihtg) Patterson and passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis in 1997 and is survived by her children Ellen Morrison of Armenia Mountain, PA, Pearl Jean Sternstein of Englewood, FL and Sir Lewis Edwards of Horseheads; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Victory Life Church and the Catlin Historical Society. She retired from Remington Rand. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Monday, August 27th from 4 to 7 pm. Her funeral and committal services will follow at 7 pm. Rev. Floyd Simmons will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
