Obituary of Jacqueline Sherwood

SHERWOOD (Switzer), Jacqueline Age 88 of Towson, MD, formerly of Horseheads, NY, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016. Jacqueline is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Henry L. Sherwood. She is survived by her children Robert Henry Sherwood of Oswego, NY and Susan (William) Walters of Cockeysville, MD; grandchildren Gina, Gregory and Douglas Sherwood, Kathleen and Matthew Walters along with several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sherwood was an active volunteer, seamstress, and knitter while living in Horseheads. She was beloved by the residents and staff of the Brookdale Senior Living Community in Towson, MD, where she lived for the past several years. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Sunday, June 5th from 1 to 2 pm. Her funeral and committal services will follow at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
