Obituary of Thelma M. Tyler

TYLER, Thelma M. Age 80 of Elmira, NY. She was born March 7, 1936 in Elmira, daughter of the late Claude and Marie (White) Saxton and passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 unexpectedly. She is survived by her children John (Sonja) Howe, Connie Pritchard and Tina (Joseph) Loudenslager, Sharon, David and Timothy Tyler; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister Eleanor West; brother William Saxton, along with her nieces and nephews. Thelma is remembered as a thoughtful, caring person who always put the needs of others before her own. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, April 22nd from 12:30 to 2 pm. Her funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
