To all of Rods family and friends I send my condolences .
There are many wonderful memories to reflect on and his loss will be felt by so many. I will miss his creative side and his family videos. For a period of time we were on Skype and he was always helpful in terms of helping me learn things on my computer and things to try to make things work better. It was nice to know he could reach out and interact with the world even in the times that he could not really leave his home due to health issues. I know his love for his family kept him here many years after he was told he could only expect to live another year or so. (That and the tireless love he got from his son as he cared for him! ( ( : ) Reading the story he penned shortly before he passed made me reflect on life, as is the case when someone is called to move on from this realm. It was nice to know he had the opportunity (and took it) to talk about his life and how he was able to move past the rough spots that none of us get through life without! A teacher to the end! I have no doubt his spirit will live on at the acre and at all the family gatherings and the memories will bring a smile and an urge to "smell the roses" ! God bless and hope all of you take the time to hug the people you love and appreciate and honor the unique spirit they all bring to this world !

I am too young to remember Rod as D.J. Rocking Rod at WEHH, I heard that on one of the stories WETM aired on Jan 26 I think. However, it sums up his energy and zest for family, his Various Carrier twist, and how he approached them. weather it was as camera man photographer, reporter, engineer for 27 years then 15 more in assorted capacity's, at Elmira College. Rod will be missed by many but alive in our hearts and memories.

Rodney, Lisa and Mark,
It is hard to have the words to convey the thoughts and prayers coming to the whole family. In essence most of the people Rod knew immediately or eventually became like family. I, Hazel feel honored to have felt it always too. Rod, was always such a joy to be around and we had many good times with him visiting Danny and I or us visiting the Acre. The classmate gatherings were always so much fun too. He will forever be remembered in our hearts.

Truly an honor to have met you. Such a significant community loss but your spirit remains in the hearts of every life you've touched over the years. Rest peacefully.

I just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Denson. He came into our home every night he was on TV and we came to love and respect him. Along the way we met the Cernohorsky family and we often spoke of him and his children in our conversations. Prayers being sent out to all the family and many friends. Just wanted you all to know that his "fans" still care and love him. Stop and smell the roses.
