Obituary of Jose R. DeJesus

Jose Raphael DeJesus, born on August 26th, 1949, passed away peacefully at home on May 22nd, 2024, surrounded by the comfort and love of his family. He was a man who lived life with a generous heart, a hardworking spirit, and an infectious sense of humor. Jose was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Diane Dausey, and his beloved grandson, Julius DeJesus. He leaves behind his wife, Diana DeJesus, and his loving children: Robert Silva, Patricia Silva, Aaron DeJesus (Lori), and Eric DeJesus. His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren: Yesenia and Lisette Moreno, Jenette Pacheco, Jozlyn, Aaron Jr., Lillyana, Ellieana, Gabriel, Sadie, and Juliana DeJesus. In addition, Jose is survived by a host of extended family and many dear friends who will forever treasure their memories with him. Known for his warmth and wit, Jose had a remarkable ability to bring joy to any gathering. He loved nothing more than sitting back with his favorite music, savoring the moments shared with friends and family. His dedication to those he loved was evident in every aspect of his life, and his presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. In keeping with Jose's wishes, no formal service will be held. His family invites those who knew him to honor his memory by cherishing the moments of laughter and love they shared with him. Rest in peace, Jose. Your spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved you.
